Team members came together in Montreal to present an oral symposium and poster on the CREATE project at the Canadian Conference on Global Health (Nov 5-7, 2015). Drs. MacDougall, Krupa, Lysaght and Casey presented the CREATE Initiative as an example of the use of market-based strategies to promote the recovery of people living with mental illness in low resource settings. The poster created by Dr. Casey, Jessamyn Little and Varsha Jayaraman highlighted the collaborative processes involved in the development of the CREATE's recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation toolkit. Conference attendees showed a tremendous amount of interest in the CREATE work performed to date. More to come!
